SAFineWine is one of the finest online wine merchants, delivering fine wine throughout the USA. We specialize in sourcing fine South African, French, Australian and Italian wines. We regularly host wine tastings at our head office as well as at boutique wine shops around the country.

Our team includes the most knowledgeable people in the wine industry and we’re always happy to provide personal recommendations, whether you’re a newcomer, a seasoned taster or somewhere in between. The team is led by wine aficionado Kenny B. and our passionate staff hold decades of fine wine experience.

Harvesting

The moment at which the grapes are picked from the vineyard is what determines the sweetness, flavor and acidity of the wine.

Clarification

Wine is transferred into stainless steel tanks or oak barrels where the tannins, proteins and dead yeast is removed from the wine.

Fermentation

Winemakers add cultured yeast to the must to predict the final outcome and ensure consistency. This process continues until all the sugar is transformed into alcohol, resulting in the production of dry wine.

Aging and Bottling

Wine is aged in oak barrels, stainless steel tanks or bottles. Once the aging process finishes, the wine is then bottled with screw cap or cork.
